The Domain
Domaine de Jouanda, a family heritage since 1879, is a jewel of Gascony, located in Arthez d'Armagnac, in the heart of the Bas Armagnac Grands Crus region. With its 8.5 ha of vines (Ugni Blanc and Baco grape varieties), the estate, managed by the Poyferré family, produces exceptional Armagnacs.
The unique terroir, composed of tawny and clayey-siliceous sands, gives Armagnac distinctive aromas and remarkable quality. Faithful to a five-century tradition, we distill and age our eaux-de-vie in oak barrels, thus guaranteeing vintage Armagnacs, pure and authentic, unblended and unreduced.
